he SMS-0425 is an efficient solar module controller and battery combination that can be used to keep your equipment powered and running all season.

Designed for use in harsh environments, the SMS-0425 comes with a pole mountable IP66 & NEMA 4, 4X, 12 & 13, UL94 5V rated enclosure. The controller features built in battery and solar module temperature compensation, in order to monitor both its environment and the battery it charges.

The SMS-0425 automatically steers the voltage to the point of maximum power output of the solar panel even though the output is varying due to light intensity changes. Standard solar controllers will simply stop charging the battery when illumination levels are below the chargers full power requirements. This ensures your equipment will be getting the power it needs. A sealed cable gland provides point of entry for power to be brought out from the SMS-0425.

Comes with a 5W or 10W mounted solar panel and all necessary pole mounting hardware.
